Lisa is a senior associate in the firm’s dispute resolution team and a member of the banking and financial services litigation team.

She is an experienced commercial litigator. She advises on a broad range of disputes, has acted both for and against companies, individuals and financial institutions and has a lot of experience of High Court litigation, including large-scale group litigation, county court litigation and international arbitration.

Lisa’s practice has a particular focus on banking and financial services litigation having worked in the in-house litigation teams for two of the four largest UK-based banking groups, specifically Barclays and Lloyds Banking Group. As a result, she has gained invaluable, first-hand experience of retail, corporate and investment banking matters and has an important understanding of the internal systems and approaches that such large institutions employ.

She has also acted for wealthy individuals and corporate clients in the property and commercial sectors and has advised on a wide variety of issues, often with an international element, from breach of contract and shareholder disputes, fraud and professional negligence cases to financial services mis-selling claims and insolvency matters including debt recovery, possession proceedings and director disqualification.
