Our corporate and commercial teams recently supported our long-standing client, global podcast publisher, Audioboom Group plc, on its acquisition of podcast platform, Adelicious Ltd. The acquisition and combination of the businesses aims to create the UK’s second largest podcast network with 40 million unique listeners and over 120 million monthly downloads and views.
The two businesses host an array of the country’s leading podcasts, including No Such Thing As A Fish and Beyond The Grid, among others.
The transaction totalled a maximum consideration of up to £10m and involved a contemporaneous £3m placing by way of accelerated bookbuild.
