Visa routes are complex and ever-changing; two issues our client, a US HNW individual was no stranger to. Our client required an urgent Tier 1 Investor Visa application to be made before the Investor Visa rules changed on 29 March 2019. If this deadline was missed then, under the rules that then applied, potentially only a handful of banks would have been available to operate the required investment accounts. We prepared and submitted the application in less than a week, which included executing the required deed of gift and opening the UK investment account (a process that would typically take weeks if not months to do). We were also able to have the decision made within 24 hours, not only achieving our client’s goals but exceeding them.
