We recently advised the shareholders of Rocket Rights Booster Limited, a TV distributor, on the sale of the business to Sphere Abacus, part of the Bell Media organisation, which is listed on the Toronto and New York Stock Exchanges.
The transaction marks an important milestone in Rocket Rights Booster’s growth journey, with the business becoming part of an international media group under the name Rocket Booster.
Fladgate advised the shareholder group throughout the sale process, providing strategic and legal support across all aspects of the transaction. Although governed by English law, the deal involved significant cross-border complexities.
Our team, led by Graham Spitz with support from Mike Tremeer, Janine Suttie, Lucy Crawley and Alex Hayes, worked closely with the shareholders to navigate the different legal approaches and documentation requirements, supporting the successful completion of the transaction.
Cat Davie, COO of Rocket Rights Booster commented:
"I honestly can’t thank you enough for your sage guidance, patience and support throughout this whole process. You’ve been an invaluable sounding board for me throughout, and I’m hugely grateful to have had you in my corner.”
Graham Spitz added:
"It was a great pleasure to work with Matthew, Cat and the rest of the team. After many months of hard work, we were very pleased to have helped bring this deal over the finish line.”
