We recently supported our client Zachary Asset Holdings (ZAH), on the provision of a £15 million funding package to Castings Technology (CTI) to assist their steep growth trajectory.
It’s no surprise that an investment into one of the most advanced foundries in the world requires some complex transactional work, with extensive input from our corporate, banking, real estate and tax teams.
Castings Technology is the UK’s only titanium investment casting company, supplying the aerospace, defence, oil and gas, and power generation sectors. To meet demand for its products, CTI is setting up a new state of the art facility to accelerate its growth; a dedicated 195,000 sq ft production facility at a new site in Sheffield.
The cross-departmental team advising ZAH was led by Corporate Partner Andrew Titmas, with support from Jaya Pradhan, Luke Morris, Nathan Carter-Smith, Ebru Mehmet, Hamilton Forrest, Tom Edwards and Alicia Orange.
Robin Haller, who led the transaction for ZAH, shared his experience of working with Fladgate: We've enjoyed a long relationship with Andrew and have always appreciated his strong commercial sense and his ability to help us identify and focus on the key legal issues in a transaction. The Fladgate team were hard-working and flexible throughout the process.
Corporate Partner, Andrew Titmas, added: “I have worked with ZAH for a number of years, and it continues to be a real pleasure to work with them. They are hardworking, creative, friendly and always prepared to think outside of the box to facilitate complex transactions – it means we have to do the same, which makes them a very satisfying client to work for. Castings Technology is an exciting company, with a bright future and we are pleased to have been able to help facilitate ZAH’s investment.
